Job Overview

Hey students, this position is the perfect fit if you are needing a well paying summer job! This is a full time, temporary summer position working as a Production Associate. We work 4 -10 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, giving you three day weekends with plenty of time for you to enjoy the summer. You'll work with your hands each day on a variety of wood processing centers, with fellow co-workers and you'll get to move around throughout the day. No experience? No problem. We'll set you up for success with supportive, hands-on training. 

 

Pay starts at $20.00 per hour + Shift Premium. Make even more if you work our Swing or Weekend shifts, or volunteer for overtime. 

 

We are currently hiring to fill our Swing Shift which is always Monday - Thursday 2:30pm - 12:55 am. 

 

Pay: Starting at $20.00/Hour + $1.00 shift premium ($21.00/hour)

 

Highlights of your role

  • Sort, stack and grade wood based on size and grade of material
  • Learn to operate chop saws and compound miter saws.
  • Work closely with your operators to troubleshoot any mechanical or material issues.
  • Cross-train in multiple departments, adding variety to your workday.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Learn to read and use a calibrated tape measure.
  • Assist with keeping the assembly line moving efficiently through a focus on safety, quality, and production.
  • Communicate and assist other team members in a collaborative environment.
  • Previous manufacturing experience or assembly experience is a plus.
  • High school diploma is strongly preferred and must be 18.
