Job Overview

Facilitate the Tool Room in support of our Wood Processing Product Group

Highlights of your role

  • Set up and operate grinder in a safe and efficient manner.  
  • Grind tooling with acceptable quality guidelines and perform necessary checks to verify.  
  • Read out heads and enter information into set-up computer.  
  • Complete any necessary ICIM transactions.  
  • Work with insert carbide tooling and be able to change out inserts.  
  • Cut, weigh, balance, and set up high-speed tooling according to specifications and safety standards.  
  • Cross-train for other duties in the Tool Room

Compensation

$19.25 - $25.75 per hour

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • ICIM and computer experience.  
  • Detail-oriented and ability to drive for results. 
  • Ability to read and understand shop drawings.  
  • Ability to work safely in a production environment around sharp tooling.  
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.  
  • Self-starter with desire to exceed or meet quality standards at all times.  
  • Ability to sharpen tooling or ability to learn.  
  • Knowledge of wood parts, quality specifications, and the ability to use and maintain precision measuring and testing equipment. 

 

Schedule: 

Evening Shift: 3:30pm - 1:30am, M-TH, overtime as required.
