Job Overview

A Manufacturing Systems Analyst will play a key role in Maintaining and Improving Manufacturing Systems Solutions. This role will be tied to a group of Work Cells to support maintaining data flows to our Production Lines and assist Support Teams in introducing new technology and improving existing processes with Data Automation.

Highlights of your role

  • Support the Plant as a Manufacturing Systems Expert
    • Coordinate with I.T., Engineering, Production, Operations System, Purchasing, and other Technical Resources to troubleshoot and improve Systems related to getting data to people and machines.
    • Act as a Project Resource for Manufacturing Systems Hardware and Software needs on Capital Projects.
    • Continuously Improve Existing Manufacturing Systems Technology.
    • Provide Support to Production and Manufacturing Support Teams to resolve Manufacturing Systems issues.
  • Act as a local Order Data Expert
    • Assist with questions/issues with Orders and their associated data.
    • Learn to use programming languages and technical tools to manipulate and present our manufacturing data.
  • Be a support resource for data automation.
    • Always work towards automating data flow to People and Machines.
    • Assist in setting up and maintaining automation for management, planning, and strategy processes.
    • Assist in connecting Manufacturing Systems Data to Automated and Robotic Equipment.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including ability to develop partnerships and provide excellent customer service.
  • Problem Solving Expert – Dedication to finding the true, provable, root cause of problems and creating solutions to resolve those root causes.
  • Confidence in operating computers, setting up tech. hardware, and leveraging software to solve problems.
  • Motivation to strive for 100% accuracy in setting up digital records and systems correctly and a constant desire to find ways to prove that new hardware and software systems are set up without errors.

Also want to make sure you have

  • Competent at working with Computers
  • Experience with Manufacturing, ideally in a support capacity
  • Computer Programming Interest/Experience (expanding programming ability is a requirement)
  • Experience with Marvin ICIM ERP Systems preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Certificate a plus
