As a Production Associate you will sort, grade and stack wood material coming from machine centers.  You will also sort and grade various material, adhere to safety policies and support overall operation & production goals.  We provide the opportunity for cross-training for other positions and departments.

 

We offer three shifts:

  • Day Shift: Monday – Thursday 4:15 am – 2:40 pm with some OT Fridays
  • Swing Shift: Monday – Thursday 2:30 pm – 12:55 am with some OT Fridays
  • Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday 4:45 am- 4:45 pm with some OT Mondays

Pay:  Starting at $19.40/Hour 

Premiums are offered on top of base pay for Swing & Weekend:  $1.00 shift premium for Swing ($20.40/hour) + $1.50 shift premium for Weekend ($20.90/hour)

 

Pay for Experience* – already have experience in production? You might qualify for a higher entry wage.  *Speak with HR for details.

Highlights of your role

  • Grade out rejected material and places in the appropriate locations.
  • Properly stack material loads squarely and to the correct heights.
  • Learn to operate equipment including chop saws and compound miter saws.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Learn to read and use a calibrated tape measure.
  • Assist with keeping the assembly line moving efficiently through a focus on safety, quality, and production.
  • Communicate and assist other team members in a collaborative environment.
  • Previous manufacturing experience or assembly experience is a plus.
  • High school diploma is strongly preferred.
